The brief
Wooz makes sustainable clothing in the Netherlands: hoodies, long sleeves, polos, a splatter tee and a tote bag, with a smile as its signature. A standard web shop with a product grid doesn't suit a brand that's all about feeling good. The brief: a web shop that feels like a visit to the studio. Look around, take something off the rail, see it from every side and in another colour, and then simply order it.

A studio above the clouds
Once it has loaded, a glasshouse full of light opens up, with rails, plants and a desk. The camera subtly follows the mouse. Pulsing dots mark the products; click one and the camera flies to the rail as the product card slides in. The 3D design of the studio is by Kevin Schipper. On the desk lies a lookbook as a 3D book with turning pages, and clicking the coffee mug puts the camera into a cinematic mode with the credits. Sound is optional when you enter.

Every garment in your hands
In the sidebar, the product hangs as a 3D model you spin round with the mouse. The fabric sways along thanks to spring-physics bones in the shoulders and sleeves. Switch colour and the model turns a full circle and comes back with a new texture. Prefer photos? Switch to the product shots.

A proper shop underneath
Products, variants, prices and stock come live from Shopify via the Storefront API. Basket and checkout run through Shopify too, so Wooz manages everything in the environment they already know. The site was nominated on Awwwards.
