The brief
Karsten Energy installs solar panels, home batteries, charging points, air conditioning and heat pumps, working from Oosterblokker with its own fitters in permanent teams. For businesses and farms they do the same on a larger scale: solar panels on commercial roofs, energy storage and peak shaving. The brief: a site that makes that broad offering clear for a homeowner and for a business, that builds trust, and that turns a visitor into a quote request. And all of it self-managed, from the hero to every service page.

Homes and businesses
In the menu, Home and Business each have their own services, so a farmer with a big roof doesn't have to search between the charging points for the driveway. The homepage opens with a photo slider that changes per service, with headings that arrive word by word. Below that, the whole offering as a grid of image tiles that reveal their explanation on hover. On mobile too, with its own menu and a fixed button for advice.

Every service its own page
More than twenty service pages, all built from the same blocks. From home batteries and hybrid batteries to carports, façade panels, insulation and industrial storage: Karsten Energy assembles each page themselves in Sanity from fixed blocks for text with images, lists, FAQs and a call to action. The hero slides live in the CMS too, with their own crop and timing. So a new service can be added without a developer, and every page still looks like the rest.

From request to quote
A request lands in the right place straight away. Below the service pages sits the quote form. A request goes to the office by email through Resend and at the same time arrives as a contact in 2Solar, the quoting software Karsten Energy works in. Street, house number and postcode arrive neatly separated, so nobody has to retype anything. A simple per-IP limit keeps spam out.

Ready for campaigns
For campaigns, such as the one for battery storage on farms, a page gets a stripped-back header with just the logo, the phone number and the advice button, and no footer. Tracking runs through Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel, so every campaign is measurable.

Trust first
You choose an installer on trust. That's why the four owners are on the homepage, with the promises Karsten Energy stands for: a free site survey, one clear point of contact and their own fitters. Below that, Google reviews from customers in a continuous slider, and the FAQs. After launch we kept building: new service pages, campaign pages and tracking.
